Posey is a practically pocket-sized, perky, basset hound. She was only 23 pounds when she came to us, but she has spent the last several weeks putting on weight. Even so, she will always be a petite basset. Posey is incredibly sweet and has lots of energy for a basset hound. She loves to play with toys, dogs, and her human friends. She would be happiest with a family who is active and willing to take her on walks and play with her daily. Her ideal home is one where she has another furry friend to play with and a decent sized yard to run around. Posey is a silly girl and very entertaining to watch. She would make a wonderful addition to any family that is willing to help her with some basic training and that loves energetic, goofy, basset hounds.
