Wrigley is everyone's perfect basset! He is affectionate, loves to sit with you on the couch, or cuddle with you in bed. He is very strong and could use a little instruction on proper walking on a leash. Wrigley barks to go out and barks to come in. He enjoys spending a little time outside sniffing with his hound nose; but, then likes to come in to be with the gang. Wrigley will do best in a home with other dogs - the more the better! He really doesn't like to be left alone and does not like to be crated. He's a sweet dog that loves other dogs; he has no problem "playing with others."
If you want an easy to care for basset, Wrigley is your man!

Foster Update:
This big gentle fellow is about as mellow as they come! Wrigley loves being around people and other dogs. He doesn’t need much exercise…just light walks once a day for which he greatly enjoys and appreciates. Wrigley is great with other dogs as he shows no signs of food or toy aggression and no signs of trying to dominate. He is house trained and will let you know when its time to potty by barking or howling by the door. Wrigley doesn’t like crates or being left alone. So long as he has some company, he is very calm and non-destructive…although he might try to help himself to a snack from the garbage can if he has access to one. He is a very good boy with a great disposition and no known health problems. Did we mention that he is also extremely handsome? Wrigley is a good ol’ family dog looking for lots of companionship and love. His "brother" is Roscoe and if there is any way you want to adopt both of these lovable boys, you would get not one but two super hounds! And you would make these brothers extremely happy to be back together!
