Gypsy is very sad - her mom and dad fell on hard times and could no longer take care of her.  They did the right thing by getting her to a shelter who called on us.  Her foster said she is very sweet and a little unsure of all these changes.  Check back to see how she is doing.

It's been a few weeks since Gypsy came to the rescue and she is settling in nicely with the family - both the two footed and four footed varieties.  At first she was timid, but her personality is emerging over time.  She is a beautiful girl with very nice manners. She had delicate features:  She has sparkling dark chocolate eyes – no droopy eyes here. Her nose is narrow and slightly turned up at the tip. Her ears are long and nicely shaped.  Every now and then she'll give you a dainty kiss.  Her coat is soft.

Gypsy is well behaved and somewhat quiet until she has something to say, then she lets you know she's there. She likes to announce visitors when they come to the door. She sleeps on the bed overnight and occasionally will snuggle under the covers. She likes to play with crinkly toys. Gypsy is very ticklish in a number of places – maybe she should've been named Thumper as her leg thumps when you hit her ticklish zones. She is house broken and uses a dog door.  She does not pull on her lease when walked.  She is a little frightened of the car (i.e. she shakes a little), but so far her trips have been from the shelter and the vet, so they may have been a little scary for her.  Gypsy is a very sweet girl who is looking forward to having a new life with her furever family.
