Princess Atta is a very sweet older girl who needs nothing more than a friendly pat on the head and a warm place to sleep. She has been with her foster family for about 3 months now, and they have nothing but good things to say about her. She's housebroken (she has never had an accident in her foster home despite being left alone for many hours), very friendly, docile, great with kids, great with cats, rides well in the car, and great with other dogs. She does extremely well on the leash, and relishes her walks with the family. She can play with kids and other dogs when she wants to, and when she gets tired she retires to her dog bed for a nap. She's not big on getting on the furniture, preferring the comforts of the ground instead. She's a good swimmer and an excellent listener who will give unconditional love to her forever family. She's not the most photogenic basset in the world, but don't bet against her being the most devoted. If you're looking for a slightly less active dog who can still show 100% of the affection a puppy can, Princess Atta is the dog for you.
