Buster is a young, handsome basset who has had many transitions in a short amount of time. He has proven to be sweet, resilient, calm, and sometimes very silly! For example, he is good at kicking his own ball when playing and watching it roll away, then pouncing on it! He thrives when given structure, routine, and limits. Buster is completely house-trained and knows some basic commands. He recently had a leg injury requiring rest so he will need some leash training once he can go for regular walks. Buster thrives on routine and is doing well in his crate when his foster family leaves each day. He would benefit from an adopter who is experienced with bassets. Ideally, he will be adopted by someone who has energy to help him play, run, and explore safely. Buster may do best in a home as an only dog or with an older, calm dog companion. He is ready to find his forever family!
