Peggy Sue is a beautiful open red and white female who was found as a stray in Denton county along with her 'daughter' and a beagle buddy.  Obviously used for breeding, Peggy Sue has had more than one litter of pups in her short lifespan.  But no more!  She's ready to retire and spend the rest of her life being loved on by people, and given the life she deserves.
At is only 30 pounds, Peggy Sue is a wonderful size dog for small children, and seniors alike.  She's learning the doggie door, loves to give slobbery kisses and spend time with people.
She would do best in a home with another dog, and an active family that will engage with her often.
