When you meet Baxter, you just have to wonder why he ended up in a shelter.  He is a very loving, true "velcro" basset, will follow you everywhere, a gentle giant whose eyes will melt your heart!  At 75 pounds, this big boy is not about to go unnoticed!
He is great with children of all sizes and ages, gets along extremely well with other dogs, shares well with others, is not a finicky eater, knows his commands AND is housetrained!  He might be better behaved than your kids!
