UPDATE:Emmitt is the most loving boy!  He is still very much a puppy and loves to play with his foster buddies.  He lives with cats but still wants to chase them.  We have had Emmitt assessed by Texas A&M Hospital for his hip/knee issues and while surgery may be a possibility in the future currently he is in no pain and they aren't sure surgery would help him.  He gets around great - runs, plays and has a funny little bunny hop.  He would probably not do well with lots of stairs.  We are looking for a very special home for this cutie!!

Emmitt is a special boy with special needs.  He came to us with both hips out of socket and knee issues.  He will need hip surgery, some rehab and possibly further knee surgeries once the hips have healed.  He can use his back legs and loves to run around and play with his foster brother.  He is so sweet and loving and will make a wonderful addition to any family once we get his physical needs under control.  Check back for updates!
