Being Returned Due to Change in Family
Carson has the sweetest little face and eyes you've ever peered into. This sweet boy is still very much a baby Basset! It's hard to imagine what he must have went through as a stray as he was found half-starving and emaciated. Luckily, little Carson is quickly gaining his strength and acting like a puppy again! He has a lot of energy these days and requires at least two walks a day with a good, strong harness to prevent him from wiggling away! Carson gets along great with other dogs and has no food or toy agression. He does LOVE food, however, so please keep the food out of his reach or he will find it! Carson is being socialized in a home and is getting used to everyday household and neighborhood noises as they are still foreign and scary to him. He does great with children although he is a tad skittish so sudden movements or raucous behavior around him are not recommended. This boy still loves to play, chew, and act like a puppy so he will need a lot of structure and dedicated attention especially for his potty training - which is going great! He is incredibly loving and gentle and loves laying on laps. With training, time, love, and patience this pup will surely grow to be a fantastic adult Basset! You must meet this sweet boy!
