Flash's owners moved away and left him in the back yard to fend for himself.  After much ado from some very caring neighbors, animal control finally came to give him another chance at life.
Obviously not well cared for, he came to rescue with heartworms, so will be ready for adoption once his treatment is complete. 

Flash would do better with a family that someone is home during the day or works part time. Since he was abandoned by his last family he does exhibit a mild case seperation anxiety.  Who can blame him though?  Poor guy gets anxious wondering if he is going to be left alone again.  With a little patience and reassurance we are sure that he will be okay!  Will you give him the love and patience he deserves?
