Have you always wanted a loyal companion who is content just to be near you? If so, then Pixie is your girl. Sweet, gentle and loving, Pixie likes nothing more than lying next to you on the sofa or even at your feet. She likes to go on walks, play with stuffed toys and lay out in the sun. Pixie is a mature girl and a little thick around the middle--but it doesn't stop her from climbing up on the sofa or taking a daily stroll. We're working on getting her weight down and she thinks its totally unfair--always looking for the next meal or a treat, but sweetly and silently. Pixie does not like when other dogs try to take her toys, but otherwise gets along fine in a pack. She will require a home where dogs are allowed to sleep near their owners, though as she will bark if separated from you at night. Pixie rides well in cars and is housebroken, but prefers a dog door. If companionship is what you're after, then consider sharing your home with Pixie.
