Laverne and Shirley were found wandering the streets. Laverne is such a sweetheart that her foster family calls her Sweetheart! Pretty fitting given the heart shaped marking on her side. This little girl is friendly, but really well-mannered. She won't enter a room unless she's invited, and she knows and obeys sit, stay and no. We're fairly certain that she can do a number of tricks, based on the fact that we've stumbled upon a couple on accident. If you get down and army crawl on the floor, she'll do the same alongside you. She's potty trained, rides well in the car, and is completely trustworthy just hanging out alone at home, even without a doggy door. She loves to cuddle, and adores children. Her foster family doesn't have any other pets, but she adored Shirley, and seems to really like other dogs. She's not really a barker, doesn't jump on people. Again, she's really well mannered. She's just fantastic all around. She's heartworm positive, so she'll be receiving treatment in March/April before she'll be available for adoption.
