Chevy has recovered from his eye removal and is doing great. He is going through heartworm treatment and will be ready for adoption very soon. Please apply online for more information. Sad Chevy - he was found wandering in this heat. He seems like a quiet and sweet guy - very excited to get out of the shelter. Unfortunately, he has not been taken care of- he is a little skinny, heart worm positive and has a badly injured left eye which will have to be surgically removed. He will feel much better once that is gone- the pain has to be unbelievable- hurts just to look at! He is a big boy that seems to have never been on a lead - but was great in the car and very friendly with other dogs at the vet. Check back for updates- we hope to have him healthy and ready to go in 60 days (Sept 20th).
