My name is Roxanne, and I'm a sweet and loving 6 year-old female basset hound. It takes a little while for me to trust others, but once I do I am extremely loving and would go out of my way to say "hi" to my friends. Like a typical basset hound, I enjoy lying around and I'm very loyal to my pack. I love sunbathing outside, going for short walks, and although I'm not a lap dog, I feel loved and secure being close to my family. I would do better in a home without small children (under 5). If you're looking for a companion, I am as loyal as can be. I hope to find a family that'll love me for me and that will appreciate my love for the outdoors, my curiosity, and my funny basset hound howl!
