Sadie Mae found herself in the shelter and sadly she was not healthy enough to be adopted. She is very sweet and energetic for her age. She needs some TLC - she is heart worm positive, has several lumps and bumps that need to come off. Check back for details and updates and she settles into her foster home and we work to get her healthy! UPDATE 12-2017: Sadie MaeBee is doing grrrrreat! She has been doing well after her heartworm treatments, has put on some weight and LOOKIN' GOOD! She has a very soft coat and loves to be brushed with a Furminator! She has learned many good manners, even beginning to hold a treat on her nose until given the OK to let it drop and eat it, and will MOST CERTAINLY work for treats ANYTIME! Her counter surfing has diminished (or is it her foster who has learned to push things away from the counter edge?). She also loves the wire crate which is kept open so she can come and go as she pleases! She is a very gentle hound who needs a canine companion, belly & ear rubs and just wants to be on a doggy bed near you! She barks very little and only howls when she hears a siren!!
