Godfrey is a fabulous guy, who promises to bring a lot of himself into some lucky family. Found as a stray in the North Texas area, his owner never claimed him at the shelter, so he's now hit the jackpot by being rescued. Godfrey is a work in progress, with much training and tenderness to be administered frequently in large doses. If you think you can provide this big boy all the love and training his 50 pound body can endure, then you might be in for the love of your life. Godfrey is very puppy-like in his behavior. He is energetic, playful, and rambunctious. On the other hand he is very sweet and loves to cuddle. The person who adopts him must know how to train a dog to correct any unwanted puppy behaviors. His adopters will never be lonely as he loves to be by their side.
