Dutchess is a very sweet lady that was displaced when her elderly parents both passed away a few days from each other. She is a bit timid when she is exposed to new things but it doesn't take her too long to figure it out, given the fact she has been sheltered from new things most of her life. She enjoys hanging out in the backyard and is kennel trained for bedtime. Duchess would prefer a doggie door so she can come and go as she pleases, but is trained to sit by the door if she wants to go outside. She is very affectionate, obedient, doesn't jump on the furniture and would rather be with her people then left alone. This beautiful lady does need a bit of training but she is a very quick learner and wants to please her people.
