Gilbert is an adorable full blooded basset, the kind of which prefers to be treated as a royal prince. His last owner left him outside, so he tried to tear down the door to get in. He is an indoor dog, one who loves to be with his people, he loves cushy beds, and loves a bath and to have his nails trimmed. He was far too refined to be left in a shelter, where he was snatched just in the nick of time.
