Dudley Do-Right! That’s him! Dudley is a love bug. This gentlemen’s perfect day consist of belly rubs, head pats, laying in the sun, and watching out the window. He loves to snuggle and watch TV with you. Please don’t tell him he’s too big to be a lap dog. He doesn’t believe it! When you come home, he greets you with a smile and lots of tail wagging. He knows how to sit on command and is fully housetrained with a doggie door. He already "flies his ears" when he looks up at you. Dudley is crate trained, but can be trusted to roam free in the home while left alone. He will make someone a wonderful, loving companion. After all this dude has been through, he deserves a family of his own. Will you Do-Right by Dudley? Foster Update: What a total lovebug Dudley is! He wants to be petted and loved on all the time. He will even put his head under your hand for a headrub. He alerts you when someone is at the door by barking. He would make a great watchdog! No one would ever know there is a gentle basset on the other side of your door. He loves to watch Wheel of Fortune and the Animal Planet. He is learning to play with other dogs but can be a bit rough while playing. Because of this it is reccomended that he goes to home with older children. This guy will make someone a wonderful companion.
