Maximus was abandoned by his owners, along with his buddy Spartacus. He waited for his owners to return for him, but sadly, they never did. He is now living with his foster family and trying to shake off his bad experience. Max is a beautiful dog. He got oohs and ahhs as he walked through the hallway at the vet's office to get up to date on his shots. He's a healthy, young, big boy, and he's working on moving on, but is still fearful about his new surroundings. He's a complete sweetheart, and is not at all aggressive. Max is house-trained. He's the strong, silent type, and his fosters haven't heard a peep out of him. He loves to have his head scratched and his belly rubbed, and seems to really like older kids. Once he gets a little more confidence, he's going to make someone a phenomenal pet. I can tell that he's going to be a big ol' love bug. He's working on his understandable trust issues with people that keep him off quietly by himself, but it's a slow process, and his new owners will have to keep that in mind.
