Here is Velma - fresh from a bath!! How can you resist that face. Velma is an absolute sweetheart! Her fosters have 3 resident bassets and Velma came in and immediately was right at home. She is laid back, well behaved, walks great on a lead (no pulling), rides in a car like a champ, does not get on furniture, sleeps great, and eats well. She enjoys her bath, and lets you trim her nails without a fuss. She gets along well with children of all ages and is content to just be petted and fussed over. She is so comfortable with people and other dogs. She has a cute bark which she uses to tell us how much she wants to go on her daily walk. Velma is the PERFECT basset hound, has all of the wonderful traits we adore in this breed! She needs a forever home soon! Do you have room for her?
