Yabba Dabba Doo Arrrooooo! This pretty boy was howling to get outta jail! Barney Rubble is anxious to find a home, and it had better not be Bedrock. He deserves comfort, and lots of it! Barney is a high energy young male basset that loves attention, loves snuggles, and cuddles. He can be quite vocal when crated, so please give this boy some room to run. We'll know a little more about his temperament once placed into a foster home, so please check back later to see how he adjusts to children and cats. Foster Update: Can you say lover boy? This handsome Basset has become quite the charming fella’. He has adapted to crate training and using a doggie door. Barney is house broken if there is access to a doggie door and is learning more doggie manners like “sit” and “stay.” He is a young, healthy boy who loves attention. His outgoing personality makes him a great family dog. Families with older children would be more ideal as this playful boy likes to jump up now and then. Barney loves other dogs and respects even the most dominant and grouchy ones. He’s an easy going, sweet boy looking for his fur-ever home.
