Duke is pure basset hound, has all the great characteristics we love! He likes to eat, sleep, and well, that's about it! He does like other doggies to play with, but watch out! This big boy weighs in at 65 pounds! He may be a senior, but he is really quite spry. Duke is very attached to people, and he does not like being confined to small spaces. No crating for him! He wants his freedom! He gets along very well with others, and takes his treats gently. He loved his triple spa bath, and sat very still for his pedicure. He sits quite well on command, and seems very comfortable in a home, so far. We think he came from Royalty, that's why his name is Duke!
