Jay is still eating really well, and has now commandeered my husband’s recliner. He is shaping up nicely to be one of the couch potatoes we all know and love. Once he starts feeling better, we will start working on some leash training. He is a sweet sweet boy.
This boy has come a long way in one week (he is not the same dog we picked up from the shelter a week ago). He is adjusting to the good life really well. I think he likes being an inside dog. Well that is unless Lonny is cooking ribs out back. He almost got him a rack of them down off the prep table outside last night. Very sneaky! I think the other two put him up to it. We can tell he is feeling much better, and is starting to come out of his shell. He loves everyone. We had several friends over this weekend and they all got big greetings and love when they walked in. He especially likes my friend Shari . He curled up next to her on the couch. This tells me he is going to adjust just fine to the right person. He does still whine some, and follow you from room to room. That does seem to be getting a little better. He tends to like sleeping on the couch, or the dog bed by himself at night now too.
