Dottie is Cleo's best buddy.  Her owner could no longer take care of them so they ended up in a shelter.  Check back for more information on when she will be ready for her fur-ever home!

Six weeks after rescuing Dottie and her friend Cleo from the shelter, we are pleased to report that Dottie is up to 42 lbs (up from 35 lbs at the shelter).  Dottie is young at heart and her adventuresome nature belies the fact that she is 12 years old.  Dottie is deaf and will bark if you leave the room while she is asleep until she has found you.  She is very vocal when you come home until proper petting has been offered in amends.  Dottie is so trusting and sweet, she will melt your heart.  She will lay her head in your lap when she wants some attention.  She also likes to use you as a pillow during naptime.  The great news is that she and Dottie are being adopted and will be able to spend their rest of their days in a loving home.
